Roundhay Ukulele Group came into existence in early 2013, when a small bunch of friends began playing the Ukulele together in a kitchen.
At the core of the R.U.G. is the belief that music should be accessible, inclusive and fun. Come along to one of our sessions to find out for yourself how awesome your favourite songs are on the ukulele!
We regularly perform at charity and community events, although there is no obligation to play in public! Please check out our GIGS page for details of our up and coming gigs.
We meet every Wednesday from 8pm-9.30pm at
LIDGETT PARK METHODIST CHURCH HALL (fire door entrance off main car park)
Leeds LS8 1HS
The cost is £6 for the session. Sheet music is provided. Tea and coffee available for a small cost before the session (from 7:30pm)
The sessions are suitable for learners – complete beginners may benefit from a private lesson first: please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or visit the INFORMATION FOR BEGINNERS page. Ukuleles are available to borrow on the night with prior arrangement.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
