It was really good fun at last night’s session – great to play some rock n roll along with more laid back songs. All these different styles and techniques will bring your playing on so keep practising! it was brilliant to see everyone have a go at some tab.
if you get frustrated with something in particular then start slow and work your way up. for example, if the change from D7 to Bb is getting you down then start by strumming 4 down beats on each chord slowly until your fingers get to be in the right place at the right time. Keep your strumming hand consistent like a metronome even if you miss the first beat of the chord – this is how you develop your muscle memory so KEEP AT IT!
here is what we did last night
NEW SONG ALERT!! – not only is this song FUN…it will also build your Bb confidence! 🙂
here is a little demo of me playing reet petite – it doesn’t have the tab parts on though… i will add them as soon as i can!
happy strumming! and remember to spread the word about our gig 20th November at The Thomas Osbourne. We will be raising money for PAFRAS!
